Our 2026 Winner

The most recent recipient of Sila’s Power the Nation giveaway was a homeowner in the greater Boston area who had spent nearly a decade living without the basic necessity of central heat. For nine consecutive New England winters, she was forced to rely solely on a wood-burning stove after her buried oil tank rotted out and the connecting lines corroded. What began as a difficult situation turned into a nine-year “survival test” of stoking fires just to keep the brutal cold at bay.

Changing her life wasn’t a standard service call, but a full-scale donation. The Sila team arrived to tear out the failing, environmentally hazardous oil system and replaced it with a high-efficiency heat pump. CONTEST Details

Giveaway Prize
  • One free heating and cooling system, including equipment and professional installation
  • Exact system type will be determined based on the home’s needs and eligibility following an in-home evaluation
Eligibility
  • Open to homeowners located within Sila Boston’s service area
  • Nominees must own the home where the system will be installed
  • The system must be installed in the homeowner’s primary residence

  • Submission deadline: April 1
  • Winner selection: The week prior to installation

The selected winner will receive a new heating and cooling system, including equipment and professional installation at no cost, provided by Sila Boston. Prior to installation, Sila technicians will conduct an in-home evaluation to confirm eligibility, determine system requirements, and ensure the home is compatible with the installation.

Installation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, and will be documented through photo and video as part of ServiceTitan’s Power the Nation initiative. The selected winner must agree to participate in media coverage, including photography and filming.
